Geir and I showed up at 4:30 in the morning to wait for the 7:00 launch. Sunrise at 06:48 am. At 07:04 am, the carrier plane White Knight with the attached space ship SpaceShipOne came taxiing down the runway to prepare for take off. It will take about one hour for White Knight to reach the altitude of 50,000 feet where SpaceShipOne will be released and launched for space.
